Front Desk/Office Services Attendant Full Time

SUMMARY

Perry Ellis International is a fashion and lifestyle company, distributor, and licensor of a broad line of high-quality men’s and women’s apparel and accessory. The corporate headquarters located in Miami, Florida. We are looking for someone out-going, detail-oriented, can handle multiple projects to join our team. Assist the daily activities of PEI’s front office and the mailroom.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for supervising and completing front desk arrangements
Provides efficient customer service to executive staff and visitors
Greets visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Responds to inquiries from vendors and visitors on a regular basis
Recommends changes for improving security
Recommends cost-saving measures for the mailroom
Organizes the flow of work for the front desk and mail services
Provides assistance to management staff by following through on a variety of requests
Troubleshoots and resolves visitor issues.
Responsible for making decisions quickly, when necessary.
Responds to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
Responds readily to the changing needs of the company
Performs related duties as assigned
Manage ink toner cartridge inventory for the main building
Assists housekeeping supervisor in managing office supplies inventory
Assist Human Resources Department in various functions
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of front desk protocol
Knowledge of internal processes to supervise a front office receptionist staff
Knowledge of process to supervise a mailroom function
Ability to work well with people at all levels in the company
Skill in communicating effectively with visitors and staff members
Ability to respond appropriately in a quick and efficient manner in case of danger
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
Ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve them appropriately

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Associate’s degree or any equivalent experience
5 years of experience performing a variety of office functions; including 3 years of supervision
