As a furniture maker in our organization, you will have the opportunity to work on high-end, custom projects primarily for yachts. We take pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we are equipped with state-of-the-art European machinery, including 5-axis CNC, veneer press, wide belt sanders, joiner, planer, and more. Familiarity with these machines is a must, along with the ability to operate them efficiently and effectively.
To excel in this role, you should be a master at transforming raw materials into stunning furniture pieces. Your expertise in joinery, woodworking techniques, and finishing will be key to producing exceptional results. Whether it’s crafting intricate cabinetry, elegant tables, or luxurious seating, your skills will contribute to the creation of one-of-a-kind furniture that will leave a lasting impression.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a furniture maker.
* Proficiency in woodworking techniques and joinery.
* Skilled in furniture design, construction, and assembly.
* Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings.
* Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics.
* Experience with hand and power tools.
* Attention to detail and a strong sense of craftsmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
* Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
* Flexibility to travel occasionally for installations.
