POSITION PURPOSE:
To provide guests with the ultimate first impression of the Biltmore Golf Facility. To ensure that from start to finish the guest is treated with respect and feels appreciated for their patronage. To provide excellent customer service, that exceeds the expectations of the Biltmore mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
10% Parking/Staging golf carts
30% Cleaning of golf carts
30% Preparing cart for guests includes providing sand and removing trash
30% Closing and securing golf carts and guest and members golf equipment
100% Customer Service
OTHER:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the Biltmore rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotels facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
Other supportive functions:
A. Drive and operate carts with extreme care.
B. Provide a clean and safe work environment.
C. Be always friendly, courteous, and helpful to guests.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be able to follow directions and specifically safety guidelines.
Must be able to drive with care.
Proficiency towards cleaning and the care for property.
Excellent verbal skills
Detail oriented
Thoroughness and the completion of tasks.
Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Must be adept to multitasking
Must have golf course or customer service experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Be subject to outside weather conditions such as extreme heat or rain.
Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision.
Must be able to stand continuously for 3-4 hours.
