Responsible for dumping soiled linen from carts, sorting and separating mixed soiled linen from Laundry accounts. Processing clean dry fold linen and or linen required to be ironed and placed into delivery carts
1. Sort soiled linen received from accounts. Separate by linen type category from moving conveyor belt into designated sorting bins accurately and consistently.
2. Observe and practice all personal protective practices as required – PPE.
3. Meet and maintain established standards of production as required.
Mixed Soil Linen Separated into Hopper – 800 pounds per hour
4. Maintain work area cleanliness prior to breaks and end of shift.
5. Remove all non- linen items and place in designated location.
6 Move and place soiled linen carts into cart dumper and empty soiled linen onto conveyor belt for sorting and separation into system.
7 Meet and maintain established standards of production as required.
Soiled Carts emptied- 25 per hour @ 2 operators
8 Separate non linen items and trash prior to placing on incline belt.
9 Keep trash and recyclable plastics separate and put in appropriate compactor.
10. All other duties as assigned.
High School or equivalent preferred but not necessary. Previous laundry experience a plus but not required.
