The Receptionist and Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines will support the Service and Sales departments by providing customer relations support, receiving/routing incoming calls, answer basic inquiries and providing follow up to customers in regards to service or sales.

What will you do?

Act as the first point of contact for visiting customers.
Meet and greet customers consistently with courtesy and high level of professionalism.
Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating our mission and values.
Engage customers to determine their automotive needs.
Appropriately route customers to our sales, service and parts businesses.
Maintain a high and consistent level of premium-brand, customer service – WOW customers!
Use premium-brand telephone techniques and etiquette.
Operate switchboard telephone system, answer and field calls, take thorough messages as it relates to callers and inquiries.
Provide basic information to callers that have general inquiries.
Place follow up calls for Service and Sales functions.
Assist management with various clerical duties as needed.

What are we looking for?

1 year of relevant work experience in customer service, receptionist/front desk, administrative role.
Serves as receptionist for walk-in guests by greeting them, providing assistance as needed, answering questions, confirming appointments, referring to the appropriate department or individual, or directing to other agencies if appropriate.
Answers central phone system and handles inquiries, routes calls, provides contact information, and supports any other customer/client service needs as requested.
Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player, professional appearance.
Pleasant and engaging – must be able to project a ‘smile’ while speaking both in person and over the phone.
Listen and retain information accurately.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and over phone.
Team-oriented and flexible/multi-tasking.
Ability to work Weeknights, Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 12-6.
