SERVER AND HOST
Chef BT Nguyen of Restaurant BT, Bistro BT, BT-To-Go and recently opened BT in a Box is currently looking for EXPERIENCED SERVERS to join her close-knit restaurant family at the BISTRO BT location located in South Tampa at 4267 Henderson Blvd. In addition to serving, those hired will train as hosts and support staff for the Fine Dining BT location on MacDill; RESTAURANT BT. Those applying should desire a multi-faceted position and be flexible with their transport between the two locations.
BISTRO BT is a full service restaurant. Designed in the style of a modern French bistro, casual meets fine in its service style housed in a modestly scaled restaurant, which provides guests with an intimate dining experience.
BT’s food mission is one that focuses on eating locally and thinking globally, continuously striving to reduce waste while creating delicious, creative and healthy food options. Each restaurant presents high quality French Vietnamese cuisine made from locally grown produce, organic meats as well as sustainably acquired seafood. PART TIME & FULL TIME Positions Available:
Hours may vary, ranging from 20-40 PER WEEK
Minimum Age 21+ years
SERVERS APPLYING should have 2 years minimum serving experience (Preferred)
Applicants must be available to work various shifts per week including Saturdays (Closed Sundays)
Excellent Customer Service Skills are necessary and a warm disposition is preferred as is exceptional attention to detail
APPLICANTS MUST BE WILLING TO CROSS-TRAIN AND WORK at all BT properties and be available to work various shifts per week including Saturdays.
Wage DOE, base hourly plus tips.

Greeting and seating customers
Taking orders
Delivering food
Serving alcohol
Busing, cleaning, and resetting tables
Answering phone calls
Placing to-go orders
Prep or side work
Preparing bill and processing payment
Assisting kitchen, such as plating and garnishing menu items
Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, washing dishes
Reconciling daily cash transactions
Desired Skill(s):
Handling cash accurately
Processing credit cards
Basic math calculations without a calculator
Using a calculator
Using Point of Sale software
Using other restaurant software
Making change accurately
Using a digital cash register
Operating a variety of equipment, such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
