Who We Need
Flamingo Waterpark Resort needs Housekeepers, who can clean rooms and maintain resort standards. Must have attention to detail. Must also be able to communicate in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
The Housekeeper will perform the following tasks including any additional tasks that may be requested by management when needed. The duties and responsibilities listed below are subject to change per business needs.
• Clean and organize all assigned rooms with great attention to detail to meet hotel standards
• Stock all assigned rooms with the proper amount of items to meet hotel standards
• Prepare cart with items needed to complete assigned rooms with minimal restock
• Report damages or maintenance issues immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Manager
• Report any issues or concerns with a guest to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Manager
• Follow bug/pest identification and reporting procedures to contain a bug/pest issue within a room
• Follow all operational and safety procedures while performing the job
• Follow all hotel policies and house rules
• Handle guest complaints appropriately
• Provide guests with special requests such as extra towels
• Bring any found items to the lost and found immediately
• Participate in staff meetings
• Wear the proper uniform at all times
Qualifications
Required Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience within a hotel
Required Education
• High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of room cleaning procedures
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Ability to follow assigned duties
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to handle guest complaints
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Conditions and Physical Requirements
Exposure
• Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Frequently exposed to hot and humid conditions
• May be exposed to hot, cold, or rainy weather conditions
Physical Activity and Requirements
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands and fingers, reach for and handle items, see and hear for long periods of time
• Must be able to communicate with co-workers and guests
• Must be able to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must frequently be able to lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
• Must be able use close, distance, peripheral, depth and color vision as well as adjust focus.
