A client in the Orlando area is seeking a Java Developer to join their team to help with a large healthcare customer implementation. Experience developing in Java and Spring boot, building API’s and microservices, is crucial to the success of this role. The team is currently hosting daily stand ups and running 2 week sprints. The team is utilizing multiple channels for communication – Microsoft Teams, Slack, Email, etc. This will be a heads down coding focused role – there is an existing code base, this position will be participating in code reviews, deploying changes as necessary, API library evaluations and enhancements for a large web-based application. Current core hours are 9AM-6PM EST.
Requested Experience:
4+ years of Java and Spring boot
Thorough knowledge of relational databases (DB2, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
Experience building APIs and Microservices
Experience with BitBucket – utilizing to collaborate on code, merge requests, etc.
Communication and culture are HUGE for this organization
Plusses:
Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) integrations (Cerner, Athena, Epic, etc)
Familiarity with Health Level 7 (HL/7) protocol and/or EDI protocols
