Clinical Laboratory in rural South Florida looking for an experienced Medical Technologist. Perfect opportunity for the water loving outdoorsman. Just 1-hour from the coast, East or West.

Medical Technologist

· Salary: $28-33/hr Depending on Experience

· Relocation assistance: $5,000

· Evening shift available, 3:30pm-12am (maybe some night shifts, 11pm-7am)

· The position serves as a Generalist; works towards implementing the departmental goals of Standardization, realignment, and maintaining 100% proficiency in the CAP and JCAHO Accreditations.

· Has responsibility for technically performing the full range of clinical laboratory procedures including Chemistry, Hematology, Immunohematology, Serology, and Microbiology.

· Blood Bank or willing to learn

· Modern Lab technology

Requirements

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field of science with five years progressive experience, and eligible for national certification.

· License Required: Must be eligible to seek a state of Florida license in all areas of Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Microbiology, and Immunohematology

· Preferred ASCP/AMT certified

· Must possess a minimum of five years technical experience in test interpretation, quality control and instrument maintenance, and must be able to perform phlebotomy collections.

· MT must have a flexible schedule. Able to work weekends as needed.
