Responsible for service in the manner most pleasing to members and their guests. Assures the highest standards are met in: appearance, hospitality, professionalism and service. Responsible for the cleanliness of all fitness rooms, treatment rooms & common areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Displays the highest standards in: work ethic, performance, appearance, attitude & demeanor in all interactions with Members & staff alike.
Interfaces with all departments in the Club to ensure a seamless experience for members & guests.
Checks fitness areas for cleanliness- including, machines, floors, countertops & equipment – correct any faults immediately.
Attends staff meetings listens to all information communicated.
Maintains areas throughout the shift. Makes sure all supplies are fully stocked & ready for use.
Responsible for full knowledge of equipment.
Answers phones & takes reservations as necessary.
Greets members and guests by name whenever possible.
Informs supervisor of any & all Member comments/ complaints.
Completes all opening & closing duties thoroughly & accurately.
Charges Members guest fees & ensures paperwork gets to Accounting.
Checks out with a supervisor at the end of every shift- when applicable.
Receives and resolves complaints concerning fitness & resolves these complaints to the best of his/ her ability.
Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of fitness areas, equipment and fixtures. Reports deficiencies and maintenance concerns to management.
Makes management aware when supplies are needed.
Completes any other tasks as assigned by the Fitness & Spa Manager
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment.
Must be able to maintain positive, professional relations with members & other employees.
Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
