What you get to do:
As a Landscaper, you’ll help grow and maintain our beautiful park grounds. This involves performing a variety of ground maintenance duties such as:
Perform diverse horticultural landscape and greenhouse tasks which may include but are not limited to watering, weeding, planting, transplanting, pruning, mulching, shearing and spraying.
Perform tasks related to the installation, care, maintenance and removal of park annuals and ornamentals.
Equipment operation (with training) which may include but are not limited to augers, trimmers, shears, tillers, utility carts, water tanks, loaders, trucks, trailers, spray tanks, etc.
Perform tasks related to cold-weather protection and hurricane preparedness. Repair work for any weather damaged areas.
Perform other duties as assigned based on business need
What it takes to succeed:
Must be at least 18 years old
Valid Florida driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and the ability to meet company driving guidelines
Horticulture experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to work flexible schedule which may include weekends and one or more holidays.
Must be able to work at 3:00 am
Must be willing to learn all aspects of landscaping.
Position includes considerable walking, climbing, lifting, carrying, bending, and kneeling.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions including rain, cold and summer heat
