Job Description:
As a Lead Line Cook you are responsible for bringing detail and care to your work, are focused and communicative with all employees. This is a part-time, nighttime position for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday .
Requirements:
2-3 years experience
NY DOH Food Handlers Certified
English fluency
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Know-how to make a soup, a stew, a jus, a stock, a vinaigrette, a mayonnaise
Knowledge of food preparation and ingredients
Ability to follow recipes
Ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy and efficiency
Ability to multitask
High level understanding of cooking temperatures (Rotisserie Protein)
Keeps space clean and organized as directed
Set up line and work area efficiently
Efficient knife skills
Fast learner
Finds flow in repetitive actions
Excellent work ethic with ability to work under minimal supervision
