While We Were Young is seeking energetic line cook for our established West Village restaurant and craft cocktail bar. Come be part of something truly different. We are looking for candidates who have a strong work ethic, great attitude and want to create something special! We are a 25 seat restaurant with a small menu that serves healthy contemporary cuisine. Looking for someone who wants a home and who wants to contribute to creating new dishes.
Looking for candidates who have a minimum of 2 plus years as a line cook.
Must Have current DOH food handlers license or willing to get one within one month of employment.

Strong knife skills
Able to cook proteins to various temperatures accurately

Ability to cook and plate menu items (We serve brunch and dinner).
