We are looking for a line cook to support kitchen operations. Responsibilities include food prep and cooking, complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to support kitchen staff and help them deliver quality food on time. Ultimately, you will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities
Coordinate food orders
Food prep and cooking
Check food plating and temperature
Establish portion sizes
Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
Keep weekly inventory list
Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
Skills
Proven work experience as a line cook
Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients
Knowledge of recipes
Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
Excellent organizational skills
Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus

Job Duties:
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
