Opening Soon! Chef Mike Price of Blackfoot Hospitality – the group known for West Village staples Little Owl, Market Table, The Clam, and Little Owl the Townhouse – is bringing The Mary Lane to the neighborhood at 99 Bank Street.
Named after the exquisite heirloom fig, The Mary Lane is located on the picturesque corner of Bank and Greenwich Streets, and features a bright, airy dining room surrounded by floor to ceiling windows.
The next neighborhood go-to spot, The Mary Lane will showcase an approachably refined menu focused on fresh and seasonal ingredients inspiring clean, balanced, and flavorful dishes. The restaurant will also offer a beverage program rooted in storytelling through both the curated wine list and imaginative cocktail offerings. The Mary Lane will be open for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner, with an afternoon happy hour to glide guests from day to night.

Responsibilities include:
– Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
– Prepare food for service
– Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
– Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
– Maintain a clean and orderly station
– Stock inventory appropriately
– Ensure that food comes in high quality and in a timely fashion
– Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
– Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
– Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
Requirements:
– Calm, cool and collected
– 1-2 years previous NYC line experience
– Solid references
– Flexible schedule
– Task-driven individual
– Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
– Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
