Looking for a Host for Japanese Restaurant in Noho (Nolita / Bowery) Full Time

Bessou is seeking a host to join our intimate team. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing host who enjoys jumping in to help wherever he/she/they can. This individual will also assist the owner with some light office work such as scanning invoices.

Seeking an individual with:
-Minimum 1 year in hospitality
-Knowledge of Resy a plus
-Excellent written and verbal skills
-Proper etiquette. Knows the value of saying ‘Please’ and ‘Thank you’
-A love of people, and taking care of customers
-Open availability including weekends and Holidays

ABOUT US:
Bessou is a restaurant serving modern Japanese comfort food. Since 2016, Bessou has been on several best-of lists including New York Magazine, Time Out, Zagat, and Tasting Table and has been critically reviewed by the New York Times, Time Out and the Village Voice. The restaurant is run by owner Maiko Kyogoku who grew up in a restaurant-owning family and 15 years experience leading operations for Daniel Boulud, the Bromberg Brothers, as well as the Thompson Hotel group. We are a small family-oriented team, dedicated to creating delicious and beautiful food and being part of the local community.
