LEAP INTO MANAGEMENT:
Are you a leader? Do you get excited by challenging yet rewarding work? Do you want to join a nearly $2 billion-dollar organization, that still maintains its family feel? If you answered yes to these questions, keep reading!
WHAT IS THE LEAP PROGRAM?
LEAP is a 2x Award winning initiative! This full-time 18-month Leadership Development Program is for high potential talent seeking a career in management. Once accepted into this high-touch program as part of a cohort, you will rotate through four operational cycles within the organization including Service, Production, Sales, and Operational Leadership. Throughout each cycle, you will learn the department from the ground up. You will spend the first half of the rotation learning the jobs of each Team Partner in that Department. Then you will spend the second half of the rotation working with the department leaders to learn how to become a successful manager at UniFirst!
Throughout the duration of the program, you will gain hands-on experience, be exposed to a blend of leadership education through classroom and experiential learning and partake in action learning projects that directly impact the business. You can also expect to participate in weekly meetings with the Program Manager to receive feedback, mentorship, and personalized development. Additionally, once per rotation the cohort will reconvene at a UniFirst training location for an in-depth understanding of our history, core values, and culture while learning from and building rapport with Executive Leadership.
The start date for the upcoming Cohort of the LEAP Program is June 7, 2021.
