Team Members are the face of our business and the Smoothie King Brand. They help guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by helping select smoothies and retail products that inspire our guests to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

We are only hiring for these two locations: We are hiring for our two locations (1) Summerwood, 12710 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Houston Tx 77044 and (2) 9360 N Sam Houston Pkwy, Humble Tx 77396.

Job Description Position Mission:

  • Experience in the food, retail, or customer service industry is required *

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates a “Guest comes first” attitude
  • Able to make weekly staffing schedule and adjust based on needs
  • Ensures Guests purpose is met when smoothies are ordered
  • Has the ability to delegate and lead a team
  • Blends smoothies according to the recipe ticket for a consistent taste
  • Encourages and trains upselling at the point of sale (POS)
  • Adheres and enforces company standards for operations, marketing/communications, and brand identity
  • Can effectively train and develop team members
  • Properly train to prep all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids
  • Conduct weekly inventories
  • Perform opening and/or closing duties as designated
  • Perform and adjust store checklist tasks accordingly
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, fellow supervisors and ownership
  • Ability to follow state and county food safety regulations
  • Enthusiasm for our mission

At least two years of restaurant, retail or customer service experience required, or properly trained and approved by Smoothie King, to take responsibility as a Supervisor or Manager.

Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.

Must be on call.

Physical Demands: The physical requirements for this position are hearing, speaking, seeing, carrying, bending, walking, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and being able to stand for 4 to 8 hours, or the ability to accomplish the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Two years or more of restaurant experience

Pay: $12.00 – $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff is required to wear a mask, all staff required to health screening before starting shift, guests to remain 6 ft apart, COVID-19 cleaning procedures in place, gloves worn and changed consistently.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • Spanish a plus (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver’s License (Preferred)
  • Food Handler or Manager Certification (Preferred)
