Mano Bella is a locally owned artisan food company that specializes in making fresh pastas and other Italian goods from scratch. We currently have a location in The Market at 7th Street in Uptown and we also sell our goods at many of the local farmer’s markets. Our Chef and owner Rafaelle, is from Rome, Italy and takes great pride in producing food that is authentic to where he grew up. Our new location in South Park features a small market to sell many of our scratch made goods, and a casual restaurant setting. The restaurant is composed of an upscale counter service that is quick, easy and enjoyable for our guests.
We are currently looking for an experienced (2-3 Years) Sous Chef to help us manage our day-to-day operations at our South Park location. The position requires strong organization skills and attention to details.
Sous Chef Responsibilities will include
• Collaborate with head chef to direct food preparations
• Maintain and oversee that all food safety standards are met
• Oversee the kitchen staff
• Manage the schedule for the kitchen staff
• Assist in menu planning and design
• Assist in in ordering and receiving food deliveries
• Maintain inventory control
• Understand and help control food cost and profitability
