Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a morning cook. In this role, you will be responsible for menu planning, meal preparation, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities:
– Plan menus and create meal plans based on dietary requirements and preferences
– Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
– Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Collaborate with the catering department to coordinate food preparation for events
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
– Assist with training new kitchen staff members
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
– Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
– Excellent attention to detail
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
