Position Responsibilities:
Cleans patient rooms after vaginal deliveries, separating/removing waste.
Cleans operating rooms after each case and performs terminal cleaning.
Transports specimens, using specimen log book in a timely manner.
Transports, discharges patients in a timely manner.
Adheres to Standard Precautions in the performance of daily activates.
Cleans wheelchairs after each patient use.
Passes and picks up meal trays as requested.
Monitors use of cleaning supplies, advises supervisor with reordering needs.
Maintains linen cart organized, neat, and covered.
Maintains cleanliness of patient pantry areas, lounges, restrooms, call rooms, and offices daily.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1 year of prior experience in a hospital setting required.
