Distribution Company with 20 years in the market is looking for a full time bi-lingual (English/Spanish), skilled individual for our Warehouse Associate position. This position performs a variety of warehouse duties that may include accurately fulfillment of customer’s orders by picking/packing inventory and checking orders. Loading or Unloading off containers and rack restocking, shipping and inventory handling. May use automated warehouse management system. May operate hand and powered equipment for inventory logistic handling to accommodate storage of products throughout the warehouse. Forklift and computer experience are a plus. Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers.
30 HOURS PER WEEK TO START WITH.
Requirements
Associate Degree or equivalent preferred
Six months of related warehouse logistics experience required (one year experience preferred)
Energetic, Organized, Self-driven, Fast-paced, Self-starter with minimal supervision.
Be able to multi-task.
Computer skills are a must. Ability to input data into several MS computer systems (Excel, Word)
Must have valid driver’s license.
Be dependable and work well in a team environment.
Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English/Spanish for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Forklift experience. Ability to operate powered sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, etc
Works overtime as assigned or sporadic weekends for inventory count.
Responsibilities
Perform the assigned tasks as described in the warehouse policies and procedures standards
Able to meet warehouse quotas for accuracy and orders prepared.
Pick and prepare customer’s orders, package or assemble orders and materials in boxes or pallets
Perform inventory moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required
Receive, Ship, Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers or trucks
Organize and restock racks as needed – warehouse
Ensure facility is clean and secure at end of shift – warehouse
Check for evidence of product or container damage – operations
Operate Forklift as needed to load/unload products, prepare orders. Ability to drive forklift safely
Ensure all items are received per procedure and stocked supply chain
Ensure all items being loaded/shipped are per procedures – operations
Responsible for completing required paperwork and comply with internal procedures.
