We are currently in search of a FULL-TIME, EXPERIENCED, FORKLIFT TECHNICIAN. This position is a Field Service position and the Technician will be provided a service vehicle. Job Qualifications & Requirements:
o Minimum 7+ years’ experience in related field
o Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in all operating systems of heavy equipment – including, but not
limited to, hydraulics, electrical, engines, brakes, power train systems, etc.
o Repair a multitude of material handling and construction equipment with little guidance
o Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using appropriate tools
o Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects
o Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with
manufacturers’ specifications
o Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
o Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and/or technical drawings
o Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
o Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as
computerized test equipment and calibration devices
o Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and/or gauges
o Maintain a clean and safe shop area as per company policy
o Process electronic “paperwork” using company-issued tablet after completion of each job as per company policy
o Must be flexible and willing to, at times, work on-call and/or additional hours as needed
o Must maintain a positive attitude, be highly motivated, goal-oriented and a self-starter and able to work
independently with little supervision
o Candidates must have most all their own hand tools
o Candidates must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License
o Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record screening; a drug/alcohol screening; and a
criminal background check
