Enegix Underground Utilities is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (with CDL HIGHLY PREFERRED) to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the underground utility industry and wants to work with a dynamic, growing company.
Job Duties:
– Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenches, and bulldozers
– Installing and maintaining underground utilities such as water, sewer, and storm systems
– Completing daily equipment inspections and maintenance
– Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
– Communicate with crew members and supervisors to coordinate work and ensure efficient operation
– Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
– CDL License preferred
– 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
– Strong understanding of construction techniques and equipment operation
– Knowledge of underground utility installation and maintenance
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
