Zak The Baker is a local, artisanal bakery and Cafe. At 295 NW 26 St in Wynwood, everything is made on site, from scratch.
The successful candidate will join a motivated team of competent individuals committed to offering high quality products to our many and diverse customers. We are looking for an Overnight Baker that will bring enthusiasm and professionalism to further propel our collective success.
Responsibilities:
The Overnight Baker is responsible for the accurate and efficient proofing, packing, and baking of all items produced by the bakery.
The Overnight Baker must have the ability to:
work night shifts, (this is a Night Position, availability from 7 PM is mandatory)
4 day work week
work for extended hours.
work in a cold/hot environment, with flour.
lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
climb on a ladder.
work with sharp equipment, or heavy machinery such as ovens, divider, mixer, etc.
work efficiently, maintaining calm and composure in all circumstances, in a fast-paced environment.wa
stand up for the entire duration of the shift (8 hours and more).
Baking and/or culinary experience is a plus, but not mandatory,
excellent work habits in line with good manufacturing practices.
A strong sense of teamwork, actively contributing to a safe and respectful work environment.
Job Types: Full-time
