PACKAGING / SHIPPING Manager needed.
Only experienced people need apply.
Duties will encompass but are not limited to the following;
· Shrink wrapping of cookies
· Bagging, ribboning and stickering of cookie packs
· Printing of Stickers for cookies / packages
· Boxing up of cookies for specific orders for Pick up / Shipping / Delivery
· Putting together Gift Boxes with cookie components for orders
· Inventory upkeep of packaging: cello bags / shrink bags / ribbons /
shipping boxes / gift boxes / bubble wrap / card etc.
· Creating shipping labels
· Preparing packages for pick up by UPS / FEDEX / Customer
· Reporting to bakery manager and owner
Skills required;
· Organization and highly detailed oriented
· Ability to prioritize
· Ability to follow through on deliverables and meet objectives and deadlines
· Ability to take initiative and work independently
· Be a team player, goal-oriented
· Excellent time management
· Ability to perform in an intense, fast paced environment
· Responsible for moving or lifting an average of 5 – 20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds occasionally
· Be reliable and on time
Be able to follow instructions explicitly.
Quality and safety protocols to be followed
Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.
This is for a Independent Contractor Position (1099)
