Parking Controller – University Parking Facilities (Galveston) Full Time

To provide assistance in guiding vehicular traffic and enforcing parking and driving regulations.

Job Duties:

Primarily maintains the appearance of the surface lots and garages working as a team member.

Maintains the appearance of the parking facilities by picking up trash, cleaning and monitoring
Patrols parking lots for unauthorized vehicles.
Observes traffic and parking violations and issues campus citations for infractions.
Assists staff, employees, and visitors by giving directions and parking information.
Submits daily activity reports.
Adheres to internal controls established for department.
Performs related duties as required.
EQUIPMENT:

Equipment used for cleaning and maintaining parking facilities, parking ticket equipment, and state vehicles.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Possible exposure to adverse weather conditions.

Salary Range:

Actual salary based on experience

Minimum Qualifications:

High school or equivalent. No experience required. Valid texas class C driver’s license.
