PIZZA CHEF $1,500 per week (Breezy Point, Queens) Full Time

Brand new Pizza and restaurant in Breezy Point, NY

A great opportunity for an up and coming Chef to make a big name for him or herself and be a part of a brand new operation.

Pizza on the Point is seeking to hire a head pizza chef to operate all facets of our pizza bar.
Salary is based on experience but is approximately $1,500 per week.

It is important to understand our location since it is not the easiest commute for non Rockaway residents. Please only apply if you are familiar with the area and have a reasonable commute time. The ideal candidate should have their own car.

We are seeking a chef that has a minimum of 4 years experience working under a reputable pizza establishment and has management experience.
High volume experience is a plus.
Experience in dough batching, fermentation and portioning. We are doing a 48 hour fermentation on our dough so product inventory is important to understand.
Ability to manage and teach other staff how to produce high quality pizza.
Must ALWAYS be on time, lateness is not an option for us.

Must be friendly and willing to make adjustments as needed to help bring the restaurant to its peak level in sales.
