Join our Mission
The Cook position has direct responsibility for preparing food items for daily meal service. This includes prepping and cooking food necessary for the day’s need and production, delivering and serving meals, collecting all food products needed to set-up assigned stations, operating all food production equipment safely and following all food production standards for required items.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a High School diploma
- NYS Driver’s License required
- Experience in school or residential setting preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified or ability to become certified
- Full COVID-19 vaccination required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic MS Office computer skills required
- Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population
Schedule: Must be flexible to schedule needs and have the ability to work weekends and holidays
- Typical shifts: Wednesday to Saturday: Wednesday 11 am – 6 pm Thursday – Saturday 7 am – 6 pm

Experience
