As a Sales Associate at Blended you are responsible for delivering and leading the customer experience, cultivating client relationships and driving the business through sales. Incumbent will also have store opening and closing responsibilities, which require prior retail experience. The ideal candidate should be authentic, have a genuine curiosity and love of fashion and current trends. Additionally, you must have exceptional selling skills, and the ability to perform the operational aspects of the role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
Accountable for learning store’s products portfolio to provide customers with recommendations that connect them to the right product(s).
Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers.
Operate point of sale system and managing our guests’ financial transactions. Must adhere to all credit card and daily cash handling procedures such as balancing cash drawers and daily drops.
Maintain health, sanitation, safety and security guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Maintain regular and punctual attendance in correct dress code and ensures store is ready for guests.
Implement promotions, strategies, sales goals and initiatives as directed by Store Manager.
Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
Maintain and operate all associated equipment, electrical equipment, store management systems, and store repairs.
Responsible for keeping the pace of production on schedule to meet customer requirements
Alert the manager of any irregularities or issues
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2-4 yrs. experience in a high volume, customer-driven retail environment
Strong personal selling and customer relations experience
Availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, store openings and closings, to meet the needs of the business
