1. Recognize and assign shift resource to best utilize associate capabilities to support warehouse operations and transfer a good product in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Support self and others in operating and maintaining a powered industrial truck in a safe manner that meets or exceeds the safety standards of Cott Beverage.
3. Assist new associates with developing their proficiency with the Company Warehouse management systems (ADC), terminals, scanners and printers, product lines, warehouse layout, loading and unloading procedures, stacking procedures, product rotation, GMP and pre-shift inspection.
4. Be proficient and support others in trailer inspections and operation of material handling equipment (dock levelers, hand jack, wheel chocks, dock locks, pallet wrapping equipment, banding equipment, etc.)
Requirements
Comply with all safety rules and practices for forklift operations.
Follow procedure for reconciling inventory discrepancies.
