Concord Hospitality is currently seeking an experienced hotel leader to manage our Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Beach / Surfside, located on Collins Ave near the Bal Harbour Shops. This property is along the north end of Miami Beach. The town of Surfside is an uptown beachfront community that features great culture, world renowned shopping and local restaurants featuring all of the flair of Miami and the world. This hotel with 175 guest suites, provides travelers the Surfside 6 Lobby Bar and 1000 square feet of event space as well as an outdoor Arboretum, rooftop terrace and pool deck with cabanas, hammock and poolside bar.
The Ideal Candidate has:
Great sales and networking skills in order to assist a sales & marketing team to remain competitive in the relevant market.
A proven track record in driving GSS.
Hired, mentored and lead teams to outstanding results.
Hands on ability to deliver outstanding financial results
Extensive experience in select service hotel operations plus a strong background in sales, food & beverage catering and events as well as excellent customer service delivery.
Being a Concord GM
As a General Manager you will be instrumental in hiring and motivating a winning team, supporting our company’s mission statement and embracing our cornerstones. You will be the liaison with the hotel brand, our owners and with Concord, in facilitating a successful business operation by providing brand training, meeting operational deadlines on project timeliness, providing attention to detail in ordering supplies and following budget guidelines, and networking with city officials as the “face” of this exciting brand.
