You are headed to a fresh start at the newly renovated Residence Inn by Marriott Aventura Mall; we are looking for dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our Team.
Essential Job Functions Are:
Responsible for setting up, replenishing, breaking down and cleanliness of all buffet breakfast area according to Brand and Food Safety Standards in a timely manner
Ensure knowledge of preparation methods for all menu items to include recipes, ingredients, cooking and serving temperatures
Demonstrate safe and competent use of all tools: knives, pots, pans, stoves, ovens, etc.
Restock and Clean all cabinets and supplies underneath buffet
Clean and maintain all drink machines at all times (juice, coffee, soda)
Keep floors clean, dry, free of debris at all times, sweep, mop kitchen and breakfast area floor daily, before and during shift
Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas and equipment to include, food preparation areas, walls, ovens, stove, coolers, freezers, dinnerware, silverware, and kitchen equipment according to Food Safety Standards
Receives, dates, examines, and stores food and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established Health and Brand standards and specifications
Responsible for breakdown of all boxes, emptying trash containers, and cleaning all containers.
Additional Property Specific Functions:
Setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and food & beverage according to Banquet Event Order Form, refresh meeting room as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Prior Food and Beverage or related experience required
Full schedule flexibility to include mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms
Must use hands to perform food preparation and sanitation duties
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch to replenish and clean
Must have good near and far vision, including ability read and interpret written instructions/directions
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
Ability to distinguish smells
Majority of duties performed indoors
Must be able to hear, noise level moderate
