Cashier at a Fast-Casual Asian Concept located in the heart of Deep Ellum.
Cashier position paying hourly rate plus tips. Hourly rate should be betweeen $13-18 per hour.
A restaurant cashier’s responsibilities include:
-Operating the cash register, processing credit card payments, and making change Payments
-Accepting cash or charge payments, and verifying credit acceptance Transactions
-Using a point of sale (POS) system, processing discounts and coupons, and issuing receipts Customer service
-Greeting customers, answering questions, resolving complaints, and providing customer service
-Putting takeout orders in containers, upselling, making recommendations, and closing out the register at the end of the day
Candidates for this role should have excellent communication and customer service skills, a basic understanding of cash handling procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
