We are looking for candidates who are honest, outgoing, and have reliable transportation. We are looking for candidates that have experience Serving in a busy restaurant setting. The position requires being able to work weekends and Holidays. We are located in historic Ybor City on 7th Avenue and have been in operation for over 40 years.
In the Server Role at Carmine’s we are looking for candidates who have a passion for serving and enjoy working in restaurants. Our ideal candidate must be a team player who is organized, professional, and proactive. Our ideal candidate must be a people person and be able to connect with our guests and add to their overall dining experience.
Our schedule changes based on the season. Business needs during peak season has opportunity for more hours. Our busy season in Ybor begins in November. We have our holiday season from November – December. We then move into our parade season from January – March. Business begins to slow down from July – October.
Our serving team makes competitive earnings with weekly pay. Servers who connect with our guests, build regulars from their service, and keep a positive attitude do really well at our establishment. Aside from weekly pay and tips we also have opportunities to earn income from special events, project days, and we offer employee discounts.
This is a hands-on position where you will be active during the duration of the shift. This is a job with opportunity to grow within the company and cross train into other positions such as events, bartending, and management.
Below are some of the job duties that come with the Server position;
-Accuratly ringing in customers order
-Keeping an organized section
-Serving our guests
-Time management during service
-Complete Opening and Closing duties.
-Display good morals and good judgement.
-Display a strong sense of urgency.
-Have a proactive approach to shift and store needs.
-Maintain a good attitude and be professional in the workplace.
-Communicate with manager on duty, other serving staff, and kitchen.
-Communicate with Manager on duty if a problem arises
-Ingage with customers to ensure a memorable guest experience.
-Accuratly Handel a cash and guest check copies.
-Be on time, in uniform, and ready to work
Our current store hours are;
-Monday 9am – 5pm
– Tuesday – Thursday 9am – 10pm
– Friday & Saturday 9am – 11pm
– Sunday 9am – 8pm
