SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Understand, support and adaptable to all company policies and procedures
Constantly strive to achieve and exceed personal sales goals, ex. UPC (units per customer), and ADS (average dollar sale)
Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and team work with customers, peers and management team
Demonstrate proper etiquette when communicating with external customers (phone, email and written communication)
Develop a strong knowledge of Salt Life product specifications, and communicate this knowledge to customers in a clear and concise way
Build genuine relationships with customer
Communicate with management regarding customer concerns and employee matters.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND MERCHANDISING

Maintain daily organization, cleanliness, and restock storewide
Actively participate in merchandising activities including, shipping and receiving, recovering the floor and ensuring all merchandise is placed in their respectable area
Attend and participate in floor sets.
Fold, straighten, size, steam, and replenish merchandise.
LOSS PREVENTION

Protect store assets and inventory through an awareness of loss prevention procedures. All suspicions and violations must be reported to the Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years of age
Minimum 1-2 years retail experience
Interest in ocean centric activities
High School Diploma required
Ability to work store sales floor for extended periods
Must pass a drug test
Able to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
Ability to lift at least 30 lbs., carry, push, squat, kneel, twist, turn, reach and bend
Must have a positive, outgoing, high energy personality
Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system
