The East Lake Cafe is looking for a part time, experienced breakfast and lunch cook. The position is for the sandwich and salad station. We are an independently owned, high volume neighborhood cafe that prides itself on consistency of service, presentation, and quality. We’ve been in business for 20 years, and we’ve worked hard to create a warm work environment, and we plan to keep it that way. Only inquire if you plan to show up for work.
Requirements for application:
– 2-5 Years experience in breakfast/lunch kitchen
– Two days a week to start (Wednesday/Thursday), must be able to work Sundays in season
– A teamwork mentality
– All candidates will be subject to a back round check
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
– Food Prep
– Proper, creation, plating and presentation of food items
– Cleaning and Sanitation
– Breakdown and Set up
– Safe Serve certified a plus
