The University of Miami Hospital has an exciting full time opportunity for a Sanitation Aide.
The Sanitation Aide (U) ensures cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment. Further, the Sanitation (U) disposes of waste in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulations to ensure institutional compliance.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Takes out the trash and replaces container trash bags.
Ensures applicable areas are properly stocked.
Cleans tile floors, restrooms, and equipment with approved chemicals.
Dusts and wipes applicable areas and vacuums carpeted floors.
Responds to service requests to address spills or other incidents.
Maintains applicable equipment in good working conditions at all times.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Adheres to the University’s CICARE and ACT standard models for patient and family-centric interactions with patients, family, and visitors.
