SEASONAL PACKAGING CLERK

This individual will be responsible for direct production within the Packaging department and other daily tasks involving production in the Packaging Department.

What You’ll Do:
- Printing, labeling, filling, or sealing packages, either by hand or using equipment within the packaging department
- Monitor product and packaging for quality control
- Perform as a team member to ensure quality product for our customers
- Keep open lines of communication with co‐workers and managers
- Calculate weight in/out and convert to seed count as needed on assemblies
- Work quickly and efficiently to ensure department and personal goals are being met
- Perform all other duties and projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to solve basic math problems involving 4 basic functions
- Ability to use computer applications
- Willingness to learn/operate packaging equipment as needed
- Ability to lift to 50lbs
- Ability to multi‐task
- Ability to move at a fast pace
- Ability to work with industrial noise
- Ability to work around seed treatment and/or seed dust
Work Environment – This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses equipment such as seed counter or other package filling machines, label applicator, seed scoops, precision scales, and heat‐sealing machine.
