Seeking a qualified, responsible, and dependable Chef De Cuisine/ Kitchen Manager for Social 27, a traditional Cuban restaurant with a modern Miami twist.

We are located at the corner of SW 8th Street and 27th Ave, there is always a lot of traffic as we are at the very end of Calle Ocho! Our restaurant is set to be opening very soon…

As a Chef De Cuisine/ Kitchen Manager, you are the leader of the back of the house team.

Responsibilities Include:
Leading everything during prep and service
Directly responsible for implementing and following the culinary standards and Overseeing the culinary operations of the units
Receiving, fileting, portioning and prepping all kitchen meats, chicken, fish and produce
Establishing prep lists, leading the production of sauces, garnishes,
Ordering food and supplies, ensuring dishes are consistently top quality according to our menu
Proficiency in cost control and budget management
Foster a culture of safety by training staff on proper equipment usage, safe food Handling practices, and emergency procedures
Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise all culinary activities taking place

Qualifications
The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
Extensive understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
Proven track record of management and cooking experience with provided references if requested
Must speak English and have a reliable form of transportation
