DoorDash is looking for a Senior Manager on the S&O US Markets team to own the Regional Strategy & Operations execution in either Southern California or Florida
Senior Managers are strategic leaders within DoorDash and the tip of the spear. We’re looking for unicorns–people who can think strategically at the highest level while simultaneously executing on the day to day actions necessary to achieve our goals. A Senior US Markets Manager has an aptitude for blending analytics and creativity to scope and solve complex problems, the ability to think about the short and long term goals of a market, and experience owning a P&L. They are self-starters, capable of leading multiple work streams to achieve the overall vision for the region.
What you’ll do Strategize – Consistently innovate and execute on short & long term strategies for the dasher, customer, and merchant operations within your region Analyze – Build analysis to understand your regional strengths and weaknesses, competitive pressures and opportunity areas Own – Analyze your P&L to identify investment opportunities, cost drivers and potential future revenue streams Build – Generate new business by exploring growth opportunities with new and current partners for the DoorDash Marketplace and other verticals. Advocate – Work cross-functionally with our Operations, Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Sales, BD, and Marketing teams to drive strategic initiatives and harness opportunities crucial to the growth of your region. Lead – Build & leverage your team to achieve your goals Experiment – Use data-driven decision making and sound business judgment to identify improvement opportunities, run tests, and innovate our business Operate – Figure out how to get from A to B–then actually make it happen. Grow – Help the business get 1% better every day.

Qualifications 7+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, banking, analytics or related experience; high-growth or early-stage start-up experience is a plus Excellent Excel skill; SQL knowledge is a plus, but not required Proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment Experience with P&L ownership preferred Experience with marketplace businesses preferred Expert communication and interpersonal skills Why You’ll Love Working at DoorDash We are leaders – Leadership is not limited to our management team.
