Description
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests.
- Welcome and greet seated guests
- Suggest menu items to encourage customer satisfaction and up-selling
- Provide detailed information on menu items
- Take drinks and food orders and place them in our POS system
- Repeat orders to ensure accuracy
- Ensure food and drinks are served promptly (in conjunction with or without Runner)
- Offer desserts to guests
- Clean tables and dining areas, including counters (when Runner is not available)
- Ensure that food presentation is up to our high standards
- Provide customers with checks and take payments
- Thank customers as they leave
- Clear tables and clean table tops
Qualifications
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Work standing for extended periods (up to 5 hours).
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver food trays, frequently weighing 20 to 50 pounds.
