Required Duties and Responsibilities:
· Service duties include Greeter, Order Taker, Cashier, Food Runner, Busser, Beverage Prep and Carry-Out Attendant.
· Arrives to work on time and neatly groomed for every shift
· Maintains a clean uniform and complies with The Hatchery uniform standards
· Demonstrates a positive attitude at all times, willing to help out where needed
· Follows all Hatchery safety, sanitation, and employee guidelines
· Follows The Hatchery steps of service in exceeding the Guest’s experience
· Welcomes and greets guests to make them feel comfortable and well taken care of
· Communicates and interacts well with families and kids
· Knowledgeable of The Hatchery menu to describe items and answer guests’ questions
· Operates a POS system to take orders and process payment
· Prepares and serves beverages according to recipes
· Follows all requirements for the responsible service of packaged wine & beer
· Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
· Packages meals for Carry Out orders according to specs and delivers to waiting guests
· Smiles and interacts positively with all Guests
· Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
· Maintains a clean work area, dining room, beverage station and cashier counter during the shift
· Stocks cups, condiments, utensils, and other supplies
· Monitor guest’s dining experience and ensure they are satisfied with food and service
· Thank guest for their visit and invite them to return
· Adheres to Food Safety requirements
· Completes requirements of job without constant supervision
· Must be flexible in schedule requirements
· Works as a team to ensure guest satisfaction
Candidate Requirements:
· Minimum 16 years of age
· Able to work at least 3 shifts per week including weekends
· Be able to operate basic restaurant equipment: POS, soda machine, coffee/tea maker, etc.
· Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
· Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
· Must be able to smile and clearly communicate with all guests, co-workers and management
· Must be able to balance and carry multiple food and beverages to and from dining area.
· Team Player, Hard Worker, Honest
· Food Handler Certification (or other state approved program if required)
