Our Hotel
With 326 guest rooms and 31 suites, Mandarin Oriental, Miami is located in Brickell Key and is a prime location for both business and leisure guests. It is an urban resort with Miami’s only private beach.
Overview of Position
The Storeroom Clerk responsibilities include, but are not limited to, receiving and examining contents of products with requisitions orders, purchase orders and invoices to verify accuracy of shipments received. Ensure all stocks in storeroom are maintained in good condition, conduct inventory as needed. Record data as weight, temperatures, prices differences, damages and discrepancies following standards and procedures for reporting to accounting and for record purposes. Direct delivery personnel and assist in delivery of merchandise to departments using work devices as flatbeds, pallet jack and handtruck.
The Storeroom clerk will report directly to the Director of Purchasing.
Requirements
Have a minimum of 1-year relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury setting.
Incumbent should have working knowledge of MS Office products.
Willing to work a flexible schedule including morning, afternoon, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation.
Must be able to lift, push and pull at least 25 lbs.
Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
Able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest.
Able to handle guest requests in a detailed manner.
