Sunflower Gramercy is looking to hire a Working Chef / Sous Chef to join our team!
We are looking for a chef who can work the line, help with menu development, create seasonal dishes, work together with other cooks to make kitchen as efficient as possible. We are always looking to raise the bar at Sunflower, and we need a chef who is willing to push themselves, and be a leader.
Sunflower is a trending brunch spot in the heart of Gramercy. We opened our doors on March 11th, 2019. Our vision when we opened was to become one of the BEST BRUNCH spots in NYC. We have maintained 4.5 stars on YELP since opening, and we continue to strive for excellence.
We are looking for a hardworking chef to continue to help us push forward when it comes to the cuisine of “BRUNCH”. We strive for quality & presentation. We are open from 7AM – 5PM .
Pay is hourly and competitive.
This job is IDEAL for someone out of Culinary school & looking to gain experience in a fast paced kitchen, or someone with a few years of fast paced cooking under their belt.
We are Small Business owned and operated. This is our first cafe, and we hope to be able to expand!
Desired Skills:
*At least 2 years experience in a kitchen.
*Strong knife skills
*Experience in FAST PACE COOKING.
*Be organized, and cleanly with ur work stations.
*5-6 days a week Morning Shifts. Either 6am-3pm or 9-6pm
