The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of workers engaged in materials movement or handling, receiving, loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping and maintaining stock in a storeroom or warehouse. This position will convert warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards. This position is also responsible for resolving warehouse problems and identifying system and process improvements.

Essential Job Functions

Collaborates with Human Resources on objectives and critical decisions by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Analyzes challenges and recommends solutions to material control problems.
Meets warehouse financial standards monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
Ensures execution of the daily plan of inventory movement by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
Ensures all Warehouse transactions are performed by Warehouse personnel using the ERP system by managing warehouse processes and conducting daily audits of transactions.
Verifies materials and supplies listed on production orders and sales orders for order fulfillment.
Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. Maintains quality and condition of warehouse items and facilities.
Manages inventory by conducting daily audits/physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data through the cycle count process.
Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Oversees material handling activities: unloading trucks, receiving parts, material movements, and order fulfillment.
Oversees the adherence to inventory identification by labeling all component with company part numbers, heat numbers and or lot numbers and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory and transacting in the ERP system AX.
Directs the flow of packages from; prepare, verify shipping documents and ready shipment.
Oversees the coordination of domestic and global deliveries with carriers or will-call customers for the timely collection of shipments.
Manages all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
Maintains sufficient knowledge of all equipment used by department and any safety requirements during its operation.
Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Five (5) or more years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, international and HAZMAT.
Familiar with 5S methodology and requirements.
Maintains a positive work environment.
Travel Requirements: 0% – 25%
Work Conditions

Position is based out of a site location.
Duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere
Interaction with other employees, as well as supervisors and shop personnel
Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-shop duties
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively
Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine shop duties
Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform warehouse duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations
Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
