Summary/Objective

The Quick Serve Sales Clerk is responsible for obtaining or receiving merchandise, totaling bills, accepting payments and making change for customers of our Quick Serve Stores.

Essential Functions

  • Obtain quick serve food or merchandise requested by customer or receive merchandise selected by customer.
  • Answer customer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise.
  • Total price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
  • Accept payment and make change. Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
  • Stock shelves, counters or tables with merchandise.
  • Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
  • Stamp, mark or tag prices on merchandise.
  • Keep the showroom clean and orderly.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required in response to the City of New York’s (NYC) implementation of the Key to NYC

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Must be eligible for and maintain SIDA badge required to work in airport.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
