With our training and development program, Andrew will train you to be proficient in all aspects of Exterior boat detailing including wash downs, polishing of stainless, windows, plastic isinglass, cleaning natural and synthetic teak, compound, polish, waxing and ceramic coatings. You will then have the necessary skills to drive in your own vehicle to various locations and detail client’s boats at their home dock, at a marina or boat yard. It’s hard work, in hot and sticky conditions, so experience working outside in the Florida sun is important.

About Ten-Tex Boating:
Ten-Tex Boating is an 18-year-old mobile boat detailing company, that services client’s vessel’s primarily in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. After initial training, we offer flexible Full-Time (8hours per day) and Part-Time schedules during Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate and benefits, including paid Holiday Days.

Those individuals with no boat detailing experience, will start at $18.00 per hour and rise on a weekly basis to $22.00 per hour as they successfully complete the initial, intensive month-long training course. After completion of 3-months, they will receive a performance review and a further development program.

Those individuals with some boat detailing experience, pay will be based on experience and discussed at the interview.

Requirements:
• Legally eligible for US employment through E-Verify.
• High attention to detailing.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and great customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Maintain a great attendance record, as well as being punctual.
• A drive to learn new things, succeed, and work well in a team environment.
• You must be comfortable and physically fit to maneuvering around a boat, work in various (hot!) weather conditions, work on a floating platform in the water and various heights in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation with a valid license.
• Ability to work under pressure and complete work in a timely fashion.
• Able to follow instructions.
