Description:
To meet departmental goals, the Transport Technician is required to act as a facilitator in providing the necessary assistance to the calling organizations, physicians and customers. This includes obtaining the appropriate information for service, and providing any additional assistance necessary to meet the department‘s needs. Specific responsibilities of the Transport Technician include responding to requests for assistance and communications with all areas within BHSF, record keeping, data entry, clerical duties and support of other Transport Technicians assigned to the BTC Dispatch. All responsibilities shall be carried out with a positive customer service approach.Qualifications:
Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Additional Qualifications: EMT, RN student, and/or 1 year ED Tech/EMT experience. Emergency Center Communications experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Must demonstrate a professional appearance and manner, must demonstrate superior organizational skills. Demonstrates positive interpersonal communications. Bilingual English/Spanish. Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year
