Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior CEI Project Manager to lead/expand our CEI business in the Central Florida region. The idea candidate will support construction projects and assist in transportation design.

Your Role:

  • Lead and grow our CEI and complementary CMT business line
  • Assume responsibility of soliciting FDOT opportunities via prome or sub-contract
  • Direct highly complex, specialized construction engineering administrationo and inspection programs
  • Plan and organize the work of subordinates and staff members
  • Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures of contruction
  • Prepare poroposals and estimates for new projects
  • Review technical work and reports prepared by others
  • Manage projects so schedules and budgets are met
  • Develop business with government agencies, suppliers materials manufactures, A/E firms, attorneys, contractors, developers, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Florida Professional Engineer’s License is required
  • 10+ years of experience in major road and bridge construction
  • 2+ years of complex bridge construction
  • Thorough understaning of DOT guidlelines, procedures, plan prepartion
  • Ability to scope/estimate complex roadway projects
  • Ability to track and manage project budgets and schedules
  • Experience supervising field staff
  • Spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Positive client relationships with DOT and local agency clients
  • Business development experience for transportation projects
  • Experience managing municipality construction projects
  • Proficiency using MicroStation and Geopak
  • Must be able to travel (to/from Estero/Ft Myers area; less than 20%)
  • A satisfactory driving record in accordance with Tetra Tech’s MVR policy is required
